R.I.P. DJ Roc Raida

The world has lost a legend...Roc Raida was an amazing DJ and really paved the way for many of the DJs of today...I remember seeing him at a D.I.T.C. show for Lord Finesse's bday like 6 six years ago...but I'll never forget...above is a pic I took at Fat Beats NY and below is a clip featuring Roc Raida from the movie "scratch" and a clip from the 1995 DMC competition:

This movie looks serrrrious...check out a quick preview and some picture galleries...This movie looks even crazier than the movie Sin Nombre (trailer down below) which came out March 20, 2009...Don't get me wrong Sin Nombre was an amazing movie...


Unfortunately, Christian Poveda was murdered on Wednesday, Sept. 2 , 2009 in San Salvador, just weeks before the release of La Vida Loca. Police said Poveda was shot to death, four bullets to the face. Poveda’s body was found alongside of his car; none of his expensive cameras or equipment was missing. read more
