Another sad day in the world of hip hop...one of the most influential graffitti writers passed away today...He also appeared in the classic movies Wild Style & Style Wars

Rest In Peace Teddy Pendergrass

Teddy Pendergrass passed away today after an 8 month struggle with colon cancer. Pendergrass crashed his Rolls-Royce in Philadelphia in 1982 and was left paralyzed from the waist down. He resumed his recording career the next year with the album "Love Language" and returned to the stage by performing from his wheelchair at the Live Aid concert in 1985. read more (yahoo.com)

Rest In Peace Lhasa De Sela

When I got the news, I had to take a deep breath...I mean I knew she was struggling with breast cancer, but I just wasn't expecting the higher forces to take her so soon from us. I was aware that things were getting worse because she ended up having to cancel her 2009 tour. She past away on January 1, 2010 right before midnight, basically just hours into the new decade.
