It's only a 18 second teaser, but hey at least they are giving away a free album...don't forget to download the new Gorillaz album--recorded on an iPAD--available on X-mas day.

The music was recorded during spare time while on the road. "I did it because there's a lot of time that you just spend staring at walls essentially. And it was a fantastic way of doing it" says Damon Albarn. "I found working in the day, whether it's in the hotel or in the venue, it was a brilliant way of keeping myself well." Adding that the collection is "..like a diary, I literally wrote everything on the day in each place and there's a strange sort of sound of America and its musical traditions that comes through. It feels like a journey through America."

The 15 track sonic journal, titled The Fall, produced by Gorillaz and Stephen Sedgwick, will be available to download for free by Sub Division fan club members on Christmas Day and will also be streamed on Gorillaz.com from Christmas Day.

It's always good news to see MexDub drop some new ishh...I still pump the last one til this day. This new compilation includes a remake of Chan Chan, one of my favorites songs of all time. The original was by Buena Vista Social Club, of course, but this version is pretty cool...also a remix of Call Me by Blondie, and some others...overall a quite enjoyable experience.

Nickodemus & Goodtimes present: The Earthchild Project

This past July, Nickodemus teamed up with Goodtimes Events in South Africa to help launch Next Aid (link nextaid.org) with a hugely successful event raising money for the South African based Lovelife's Go-getters program. In addition, he recorded with the children from the Sakumlandela Primary School's Earthchild Project & Zolani and Kyla from the band Freshly Ground.

These songs were then distributed to producer/ remixers including Nickodemus, Circuswing, Zeb, The Pimps of Joytime & Tal M. Klein for a new electronic sound! ALL proceeds from this project will be going directly to a beautiful school in Cape Town.
