Massive Attack on Jimmy Kimmel Live

I just saw Massive Attack perform about a week ago at Terminal 5, which was just amazing (footage coming soon)...but was really happy to see them on Jimmy Kimmel...didn't expect them to be on regular TV, not sure where Grant (Daddy G) was at during this show though...but makes me think maybe things are getting better??
-Distant Relatives on Leno
-Rodrigo and Gabriela on Conan & playing for Obama
-Reflection Eternal with Estelle on the Jimmy Kimmel show,
-Slick Rick, Biz Marky, Doug E. Fresh on the Monique Show

hmmm, we'll see...

Massive Attack: Saturday Come Slow (Feat. Damon Albarn) video

Filmed inside Cambridge University's anechoic chamber (designed to create total silence) and featuring former Guantanamo Bay detainee, Ruhal Ahmed, this short by Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin is a reflection on Ahmed's experiences whilst in detention (particularly how he was interrogated using high-volume music) and about the use of human sound on the body.

Hear Massive Attack's 'Heligoland' in its Entirety

Seven years later...Grant Marshall and Robert Del Naja (Massive Attack), who paved the way for trip hop as a genre, are back with their fifth album, Heligoland. Featuring Horace Andy and a an impressive line-up of great musical talent including Tunde Adebimpe (TV on the Radio), Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorillaz), Hope Sandoval (Mazzy Star), Martina Topley-Bird (known for her work with Tricky), Guy Garvey (Elbow) and Portishead's Adrian Utley on guitars. Tim Goldsworthy and Neil Davidge co-produced the album with the duo. I really hope to not have to wait seven more years for their next album, but I understand it takes time to come up with music of this caliber... via NPR
